Exports

The Trade Unit – Export is involved in regulating the following:

• Export of products of animal origin for human and non-human consumption (animal feed, organ and blood derivatives and trophies) (Email: tradeunit-export@govmu.org / moa-dvs@govmu.org);
• Export of live animals including pets (Email: tradeunit-export@govmu.org / moa-dvs@govmu.org);
• Inspection of exporter premises, quarantine/isolation facilities, warehouse and cold storage;
• Inspection and sampling of products of animal origin;
• Inspection of live animal (including pets) prior to certification for export;
• Issue of International Veterinary Certificates as per importing countries’ requirements prior to export.
